04-07-Creating Blog Account Settings - Mobile and Email

When you  finished completing the Account Settings - Posts and Comments page, you can start filling out the information on the Account Settings - Mobile and Email.

The Account Settings - Mobile and Email has the following menu:

1.  Posting using SMS/MMS - Click on Add mobile device to type the mobile devices where you like your blog to be broadcasted.

As of this writing, Blogger.com supports mobile device carriers in these countries:

  • Australia
  • Czech Republic
  • France
  • Germany
  • Ireland
  • Italy
  • Japan
  • Norway
  • Poland
  • Portugal
  • Spain
  • Sweden
  • United Kingdom
  • United States
  • Web mail

In the United States, Blogger.com supports the following mobile device carriers:

  • airbridge.net
  • blackberry.net
  • blswe.com
  • cingularme.com
  • danger.com
  • dngr.net
  • gocbw.com
  • lightsurf.net
  • mmode.com
  • mms.att.net
  • mms.helio.com
  • mms.myhelio.com
  • mms.net
  • mycingular.com
  • mycingular.net
  • myvzw.com
  • nextel.com
  • sprint.com
  • sprintpcs.com
  • tmail.com
  • tmodns.net
  • tmomail.net
  • txt.att.net

The following web mail services are also supported by Blogger.com:

  • gmail.com
  • hotmail.com
  • yahoo.com

If you do not have email account from any of the above three (3) web mail services, I suggest that you create one so that if you plan to create a blog with Blogger.com, you can successfully design a blog that you can broadcast to mobile devices or create a different mobile blog.

2.  Email

2.1.  Posting using email?  Click on one of the 3 choices: Publish email immediately, Save emails as draft post, or Disabled.

2.2.  Comment Notification Email - Click on Choose from contacts (if there are already emails you previously entered)  or type additional email addresses on the box.  Click on Remove by highligthing the email address you previously entered.

2.3.  Email posts to - Click on Choose from contacts (if there are already emails you previously entered)  or type additional email addresses on the box.  Click on Remove by highligthing the email address you previously entered. Then, click on Save Settings to update your changes.

Now you are done in completing the Account Settings - Mobile and Email page.

The next step is to go the Table of Contents and click on the next topic.
