You're here > 01-Table of Contents - Making Money with AdSense > 04-03-Blogger.com Account and Dashboard

Create an Account with Blogger.com

After you have prepared the (a) final topics to be discussed in your blog, (b) chosen domain name and (c) personal information, you are ready now to create a blog with Blogger.com.  Hosting of your domain name and blog is free forever, unless Blogger.com changes its policies.  Blogger.com will allow you to make money with your blog without paying any fees, unlike other blogging websites.

To create an account with Blogger.com, simply go to the www.Blogger.com website and submit all the information needed.

If you do not have an account yet with Blogger.com or Google.com, you have to create an email address first.  Google.com offers its free Gmail where you can create your customized email address.

If you already have an email address and password with Google.com,  you can use the Google email address and password to access the Blogger.com blogging services.

Once you successfully created your account with Blogger.com, you will be brought to the Blogger's dashboard.

Familiarize Yourself with the Blogger Dashboard

You will find the following information in the Blogger dashboard which are self-explanatory:
  • New Blog
  • English Language (default) - you can select any language from the drop down menu
  • Blogger Options - will display the following: Blogger Help, Send Feedback, Edit Notification, Connect to Google+, Old Blogger Interface, About Our New Look
  • Create new post
  • Go to post list
  • More Options - Overview, Posts, Pages, Comments, Stats, Earnings, Layout, Template, Settings
  • View blog
  • Reading list
  • View in Google Reader

After you have read the explanations for each topic in the dashboard, you can now create your own user profile.
